About Me

As you can probably tell by the domain I go by the username of “Mr Razzle” while online. This website is something I work on/redesign when I am bored (such as right now as I type this). Anyway, now it is time to talk about things you may not already know about me. I am an “Officer” in a Team Fortress 2 gaming clan called -FAP-. I designed the website that is currently used (notice some similarities with this site and that one? Yeah, I am lazy and like to reuse the same basic layouts), and I help run/manage the two servers. The public server information is displayed below.

Launch of my internet Nerdism

I didn’t really discover internet forums/use the computer for anything but school until I got my Action Reply for my Nintendo DS. Being a little cheater, I wanted more cheat codes to become better, faster, and stronger than otherwise possible. This launched me into the every growing and indefinite world that people commonly call “The Internet”. On Apr 04, 2007 I started off going to a coding website called “Kodewerx” under the oh so creative username of “Somedude”. Over at Kodewerx I discovered the crazy world of the internet and learned how to navigate your basic phpbb forums. Over time I figured out the basics of the code making and pulled out some modified codes that I could call my own. I also created an “AR Help Thread” that helped many people with problems they faced with their action replys. Kodewerx was geared towards people of the age of 17+ at the time, while I was only 14 years old and therefore had to flee with some of the younger kids to a more child friendly site. This led me to join a newly created more strict/family friendly “NintendoHack”, where I would eventually become administrator and help run the site for some time. Between joining Kodewerx and joining NintendoHack I was in a website design class in my Middle School. This gave me the idea to launch my very first website (hosted off webs.com (formally freewebs)). The site is pretty painful to look at, but I have it saved as it is nice to sometimes look back and see how far I’ve come since my beginnings. http://mrrazzle.com/Archive/fluffyskeletor/ (I got my “fluffyskeletor” username when I signed up for IGN and tried using “Skeletor”, the name my cousin had given me that day. It was already taken so I took the first recommendation, fluffyskeletor)

First Website I hosted

NintendoHack wasn’t able to stand and fell after a year(ish, I don’t have the exact dates as all our hosts have dropped the sites). A fellow administrator of Nintendohack (Nixshadow), and I created a new site called “The Random Site”. This site was just a site to talk about anything and everything that was on your mind. The community was slow picking up, but it thrived pretty well for a few months, but then it started to decline again. Nixshadow and I closed it down after a little bit over a year, as the community was pretty much dead. While the community site didn’t last, the site taught me some valuable lessons on how to make a website, as well as gave me an introduction to web hosting servers (that weren’t free). It also pulled some like minded internet nerds together, and many members are still in contact with others via other gaming forums or with Steam.

Introduction to Steam/PC gaming

On Sep 16, 2008 I was introduced to a wonderful gaming platform called Steam. I purchased Team Fortress 2, which is still my favorite game to date. Having Steam/TF2 has turned me into a major VALVe/steam fanboy. Almost 100% of my gaming is now done via steam games.

I currently play Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and Mass Effect 2
